Total emoluments Excluding HRA, TA Conveyance Allowance for Medical Officers, at the time of initial appointment will be approximately Rs. 46,000.
Not exceeding 32 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 37 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 35 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant up to Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. NOTE – I The crucial date for reckoning the age limit shall be the first day of January of the year in which the examination is held.
NOTE – II The upper age limit shall be relaxable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and certain other categories as may be notified by the Government from time to time.
|Essential Qualificaiton (s)||
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule also fulfill the condition stipulated in subsection (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. Candidates who may not have completed rotating internship shall be eligible to appear for the examination provided that if selected, they shall have satisfactorily completed the compulsory internship before appointments.
NOTE - The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
