Post Description

Pay Scale   Pay Band-3, Rs.15600–39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- (Pre-Revised).
Age   Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ U.T. Government servant upto Five years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   (A) EDUCATIONAL-

(a) Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University

(b) Degree in teaching from a recognized University or Institution.

(B) EXPERIENCE-

Three years’ teaching experience in Chemistry in a recognized school or educational Institution


Note 1- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   To teach Chemistry to cadets. To supervise their co-curricular activities and games. To be responsible for their discipline, turnout and provide guidance to improve living conditions and enhance moral values. To actively take part in cadet related activities and be a role model for them in all spheres of life.
Probation   One year
Headquarters   Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The post is permanent.
